Hidden View Stables will be hosting a two day clinic beginning on June 29th and ending on the 30th. The clinic will be with Michael Schaeffer who has written a book called "Right from the Start".
Michael's book shares his knowledge of the fundamentals, as well as his unique way of starting horses, whether they are young and untrained, or older and needing a new reschooling regime. Using understandable aids, he teaches the horse to soften and move into the rider's hand. By controlling the horses direction and angle, he teaches them to bend, control speed, and balance their movements.
We had a clinic with Michael in April. We all learned a lot of new techniques and wanted him to come back as soon as possible.
